SOUTH BEND - Lucille R. Zepka-Coy, 89, passed away in Millers Merry Manor, New Carlisle. Lucille was born October 16, 1922 in LaPorte to the late Joseph and Agnes (Pataiuch) Nowicki. On April 7, 1945 she married Edward Zepka who preceded Lucille in death on December 10, 1963. On February 20, 1970 in Tipton, IN, she married Donald Coy, and he preceded her in death in December of 1976. Lucille is also preceded in death by brother, Stanley Nowicki; and four sisters, Francis Gagodka, Rose Kubiak, Sophie Ciesielski and Pearl Piasecki. Lucille is survived by son, Stephen J. Zepka of LaPorte; grandchildren, Stacey Hightower of Ft. Smith, AK, Ed Zepka of Phoenix, AZ, John Zepka of South Bend, and Michelle Badowski of Hudson Lake, IN; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Lucille retired from the St. Joseph County Clerk's Office in 1988 after 25 years of service. She is also a parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
