Joe was born in Chicago on August 5, 1928, the son of Joseph and Mary Ann (Klonowski) Pacovsky. On June 10, 1961 he married Brigitte Quint in Chicago. Joe built runways and hangers during his service in the US Army Air Force during the Korean War. He was a journeyman tool and die maker at Weldun in Bridgman, Michigan, retiring in 1990 with 39 years service. When not working in his apple orchards, he loved to draw house plans and blueprints. Joe’s favorite hobby was working with model trains and airplanes. Survivors include his wife, Brigitte Quint; children, Monica L. (Greg) Adkins of Three Oaks; Gary A. Pacovsky of New Buffalo; Michigan; Frank J. Pacovsky of South Bend, Indiana and Ingrid Marie Pacovsky of Three Oaks; and his grandchildren, Courtney, Morgan and Zachary.
