[N17062] MARTHA J. NOWACZYK (nee ULLRICH) ELKHART, IN Martha J. Nowaczyk (nee Ullrich), 86, of Elkhart, IN, formerly of Hammond, IN, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She is survived by her three daughters: Sharon Nowaczyk, JoEllen (Danny) Simm, and Nancy (Dennis) Listenberger; one son: Thomas Nowaczyk; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-law, Dolores Ullrich. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. "Sonny" Nowaczyk, and her brothers, Donald, William (late Rachel), and Carl (late Maxine) Ullrich. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Anthony & Dziadowicz Funeral Home, 9445 Calumet Ave. (at 45th St.), Munster, IN. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN. Visitation Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Martha was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School Class of 1949 and a former member of the Northside Bowlerettes. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and socializing with the neighbors. Martha's family would like to extend a special thank you for the kindness of the Meals on Wheels volunteers and the caring staff at Elkhart General Hospital.
