Marina Gekhtman, 55, of Granger, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019. She was born November 14, 1963 in Zaporozhye, Ukraine to Gerald and Debora (Bykova) Genyuk. On June 23, 1985 in Kyiv, Ukraine, she married Michael Gekhtman who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Ilya (Galyna) Gekhtman and Dmitri Gekhtman; and one sister, Alexandra (Valentin) Kobylianskii. A time of remembrance with the family will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 2:30-3:00PM at Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Rd, South Bend. Friends may gather with the family at the funeral home from 1:00PM until the time of remembrance. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
