Traci L. (Smyers) Hall, 35, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012, in IU Health La Porte Hospital. She was born on January 7, 1977, the daughter of Harry C. “Chuck” Smyers and Cheryl Richardson at La Porte Hospital. She attended La Porte High School and later graduated from Penn High School. She was a craft enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved kids to say the least. She is survived by her parents: Harry C. “Chuck” (Beckey) Smyers of South Bend, Indiana and Cheryl (Roger) Williams of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; four siblings: Stephanie (Charles) Hooks of Mountain Home, Idaho; Betty McGee of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Jason “Jay” Smyers and Heather Lopez both of La Porte; her Grandmother: Rose Smyers and several nieces, nephews and tons of aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her children: Staci Lynn; Hunter Benjamin and her grandparents: John and Phyllis Richardson and Walter Smyers. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Traci’s honor at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor John D. Marron officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2012, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
