SOUTH BEND - Patricia Ann Kowalski, 72, passed away at 9:30 pm Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, in the West Bend Nursing. Patricia was born April 16, 1941, in South Bend, to the late Erwin and Mary (Amigh) Kowalski. Patricia was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Victoria Kowalski. Survivors of Patricia include her sister, Barbara (Robert) DeVos of South Bend; and brother, Richard (Deborah) Kowalski of Niles, MI. She was very close to her aunt, Dorothy Weller, and her cousins, Steve and John Weller, and also Carol and Joann. Patricia was employed with the University of Notre Dame for nineteen years in food services. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Harvest House and choir. Visitation for Patricia will be 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday, October 11, 2013, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 12:00 pm Friday. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr, 920 Wilber St., South Bend, IN 46628.
