Lenore A. Spart, 76, of Linden Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, after an illness. Lenore was born on April 20, 1927, in Mishawaka, as the daughter of Paul and Marjorie (Fisher) Vogler. She was preceded in death by a son, Eric Spart; her father, Paul Vogler; and her mother, Marjorie (Fisher) Vogler of South Bend, Ind.; two sisters, Aline Dickerson of Mishawaka and Jean Clark of Atlanta, Ga.; and by a brother, Fredrick Vogler.
On Dec. 30, 1954, in Mishawaka, as the former Lenore Vogler, she married Louis J. Spart, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Paula Spart of South Bend; and by a son, Matthew Spart of Mishawaka. Lenore worked at jobs in various Uniroyal offices, retiring after 17 years of employment. Following Uniroyal, Lenore worked as a case worker for the Penn Township Trustee Office for a short while. She was a member of Uniroyal Salary Women's Retiree Club, and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. She loved to watch Wheel of Fortune and Perry Mason. She loved classical music and liked to read her mystery books. Lenore was a wonderful loving wife, mother and friend who will be truly missed by all whose lives she touched. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 30, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 1, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Robert Yast officiating. Entombment will follow at Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum, Mishawaka. Contributions may be made in Lenore's name to St. Vincent dePaul, 3408 Ardmore Trail, South Bend, IN 46628.
