Leon was the son of Benjamin Paradis and Marie Anne Vanasse Vertefeuille. He was married to Marie-Francoise Caroline Trudeau about 1857. Children included: Bibienne, Leontine, Gustave, Victor, Marie, Erick and Trudeau. Son Trudeau's death record notes burial at the Catholic Cemetery in Stanfold. Leon's death record notes burial in Dobie. Our Lady of Lourdes is the probable burial place for the family.
