SOUTH BEND - Susan T. Piechocki, 84, passed away on Sunday. Susan is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Rick) Waldron of Niles, MI; son, Rev. Msgr. Bruce Piechocki of Mishawaka; granddaughters, Lindsey Yates and Valerie Waldron. Visitation will be 9-11 am on Monday in St. Casimir Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday in St. Casimir Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements handled by St. Joseph Funeral Home.

SOUTH BEND - Susan T. Piechocki, 84, passed away at 7:51 am on Sunday, April 1, 2012 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Susan was born in South Bend, IN to the late James and Hattie (Dobrzykowski) Jessiak. On August 13, 1947 Susan married Louis J. Piechocki who preceded her in death on November 14, 2004. She is also preceded by her guardian, Emily Kruzel, who raised her after the death of her parents. Susan is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Rick) Waldron of Niles, Michigan; and son, Rev. Msgr. Bruce Piechocki of Mishawaka; granddaughters, Lindsey Yates and Valerie Waldron. Susan was a parishioner of St. Casimir Catholic Church, where she was a parish representative for the Council of Catholic Women and the Rite of Life, member Senior Citizens Organization, the Altar and Rosary Society and the Choir. Susan was a member of Club 53, and did volunteer work at Faith, Hope and Charity Chapel. Susan loved her pets, dog Trixie and cats, Sassy and Pepsi. Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, April 9, 2012 in St. Casimir Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in St. Casimir Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery.
