. There are two Mindykowski family plots in St. Joseph Cemetery. In the plot further from Westen Ave., there is a marker that is inscribed: "Father, 1847-1926."

Obituary from p. 32 of the 5 SEP 1926 edition of the “South Bend Tribune”:

. Frank Mindykowski, age 79, of 1314 West Poland street, died Saturday morning at 2:40 o'clock at his home after an illness with paralysis. He was born in 1846 and had lived in South Bend for 18 years. He is survived by the following children: Stephen, Frank, Joseph and Louis, of South Bend: Stanley, of Detroit. Mich.; Mrs. Veronica Jegier, and Mrs. Helen Dolniek [sic. Dolniak], of South Bend, and Sister M. Boromea, of Chicago. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Casimir’s Roman Catholic church. Rev. Stanislaus Gorka, C. S. C. officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.
