Person Notes: By the time of the 1930 Federal Census she was a widow still living with her
children at 910 Harrison, South Bend in a house she owned

Obituary: South Bend Tribune, 1966, Wednesday, November 23, Page 51. Mrs. Rose Gramza, 86,
of 910 Harrison Ave. died in St. Joseph Hospital Tuesday morning. She was born in Otis, Indiana
on Aug. 2, 1880. Her husband died in 1927. Surviving are three sons, Anthony, Marion and
Clement, all of South Bend; three daughters, Mrs. Leo Hanyzewski and Mrs. Dewey Mann, both of
South Bend, and Mrs. William Sweeny of Dowagiac, 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of the Church.
