Frank J. Minarik, June 20, 1896 - Feb. 15, 1994, Frank J. MINARIK, 97, 698 West 550 North, Rochester, died at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday at Rochester Health Care Center. He was born in San Pierre to John and Barbara MINARIK. He came to Rochester in 1942 from North Judson. On July 16, 1919 in North Judson he married Stephanie KAJER who died Sept. 8, 1983. He was retired from farming and a member of Eagles Lodge No. 852 in Rochester. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Evelyn) BASCOM, Merrillville; Mrs. Bub (Louise) MOORE, Lakeville; Mrs. Ray (Ella) LOCKWOOD, Rochester; four sons, George MINARIK, South Bend; Edward MINARIK, North Liberty; Joe MINARIK, North Judson; Frank MINARIK, Rochester; thirty-one grandchildren; fifty-nine great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were two daughters, Barbara and Marie, a son, Steven [MINARIK], five sisters and a brother. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Frank KILCLINE officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Center Cemetery, north of Rochester. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday, at the funeral home. There will be a prayer vigil at 8 p.m. Friday.
