Obituary for Terry William Radde
Terry William Radde, 64, of St. Joseph, Mich., passed away Thursday, August 8, at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph. A
Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00pm, Tuesday, August 13, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 715 Market St., St.
Joseph. Friends may call from 7-9pm, on Monday, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St.

Mr. Radde was born to Louis C. and Theodora E. (Mackus) Radde on December 27, 1937 in Benton Harbor, Mich. He
attended Trinity Lutheran School through 8th grade and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1956. After High
School, Terry served in the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt CVA 42. On July 11,
1959 Terry married Marilyn Friesen, who preceded him in death on September 2, 2000, in Baton Rouge, LA.
Terry received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University in January of 1963. He worked in a variety of areas, including Whirlpool Corporation, but he enjoyed most his time in law enforcement
with the Baton Rouge La., Sherif's Department. Terry is survived by two children Mark Radde of Florida,
and Michelle (Richard) Courtney of Louisiana; three grandchildren ? Richard, Justin and Dakota Courtney; his
mother Theodora of St. Joseph, his brother Theodore of Las Vegas, and his sister Elizabeth (Guy) Arrans of St. Joseph.
Terry was preceded in death by his father Louis Radde in 1990.
