SOUTH BEND - Judith A. Endres, 71, passed away at 7:38 am, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in the Arborwood Assisted Living Facility in Granger. Judith was born May 8, 1941 to the late Thomas O. and Adeline (Kosinski) Baxter. On May 19, 1962 in Buffalo, NY Judith married Edward R. Endres, Sr.; he preceded her in death on October 4, 2004. Judith was also preceded in death by her sister, Susan Rae Nardi; and brother, Thomas Oliver Baxter, Jr. Survivors for Judith include her children, Edward (Debra) Endres, Jr. of South Bend, Michelle (Mark) Letourneau of Flowery Branch, GA, Suzanne (Rick) O'Connell of Eaton Rapids, MI and Elizabeth Ann Endres of South Bend; grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Jackson, Aaron, Kayla, and Emily Endres, Mykael and Madison Letourneau; one great-granddaughter, Lillian Faith Jackson; and a sister, Kasha Baxter of Ashville, NC. Judith was a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church, and was an Accountant for North American Signs. She was also a member of Friends of the South Bend Public Library and a Gate Judge for the Olympic Trials for Kayaking on the East Raceway. She was a gardener, book collector, loved dancing, singing, and loved traveling to Europe. Judith was a huge Fighting Irish fan; she and her family visited Notre Dame Campus on several occasions. Christmas was always amazing with Judith, her decorating, gifts, and dinners; she always made you feel so special. Judith was so proud of her family; it meant so much to her spending time with her children and grandchildren. Visitation for Judith will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, November 25, 2012 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 1827 E. Ireland Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 2:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Monday, November 26, 2012 in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church, 19704 Johnson Rd., South Bend, IN 46614.
