Julianna Michaela Potasnik, age 89 of Warren, died Monday, June 6, 2011 at St. John Oakland-Macomb Hospital, Oakland Center in Madison Heights. The 4th of 12 children, she was born on January 14, 1922 in Widen, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Michael and the late Marianna (nee: Maniowszczak) Potasnik.
She was the beloved sister of Frank (Vinnie) Potasnik, Michael Potasnik, Helen (Phil) Gallo, and Rose (Steve) Ciszczon. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation for Julianna will be held on Thursday, June 9th from 3-9pm, with a 7pm Rosary Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd) in Warren. She will lie in state Friday from 9:30am until the time of Mass at 10:00am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 32000 Mound Road in Warren. Officiating the liturgy will be Rev. Father Alberto Bondy. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. Memorial donations are welcomed to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
