He was baptized on 24 Feb 1852 in Lekno, Poland, Prussia - Germany. , The baptismal record reads, "Born 23 February [1852] at Lekno, a legitimate son, Adalbertus, baptized 24 February [1852] by Rev. Adalbertus Jankowski; son of Jacobus Delinski and Francisca Pokorna, both Catholic Vill. Godparents: Joannes Plucinski and Marianna Rozwarska." He was godfather to his niece Catharina Delinska on 17 May 1874 in Poznan, Poland. Catharina was the daughter of Andreas Delinski and Marianna Je~drzejczak, Adalbert's brother and sister-in-law.
