Bruce H. Ulbricht, 68 years old, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, November 09, 2022 in his home. On November 14, 1988, Bruce married the love of his life, Donna Hershberger, who survives. Bruce was born on December 16, 1953 in South Bend to the late Richard and Patricia (Walters) Ulbricht. Bruce is also preceded in death his daughter, Erica McCoy; and brother, Bill Ulbricht. Left to cherish their memories of Bruce is his loving wife, Donna; children, Aaron (Willow) Estel, Melinda (Brian) Warfel, Jay Ulbricht, and Nathaniel (Kristin) Harris; grandchildren, Bennett Ulbricht, Elizabeth Harris, Ethan Harris, Evan Harris; Ralph (Emma) McCoy, Grace (Jay) Pritchett, Andrew McCoy; brother, Gary (Cindy) Ulbricht; sister, Sandy (Mike) Anderson; sister-in-laws, Carol, Anita, Sara, Mary, and Becky; brother-in-law, Stanley; and his son-in-law, Josh (Lana) McCoy. Bruce was a lifelong resident of South Bend. He was an entrepreneur and built a couple of businesses that he ran. He had a passion to build rapport with his regular customers that he served. He was a very compassionate person and had a heart for others. He had a messaged displayed on his vending machines that said “Helping Children is Priceless”. His selflessness was displayed in his work but also in his home, especially with his loving wife, Donna. Bruce also loved his coffee, watching Sandra Bullock movies, and playing tennis every week with his buddy, Dennis. Bruce also was very involved at Granger Community Church. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. There will be no services held for Bruce at this time, per the family. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Donations in honor of Bruce H. Ulbricht may be made out to Granger Community Church, 630 E University Dr, Granger, IN 46530.
