HOWE - Virginia M. Pagin, 89, of Howe, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Pagin was born Jan. 27, 1924, in Skidmore, Mo. She was a member of College Club in LaGrange. On July 4, 1954, in Keokuk, Iowa, she married John A. Pagin. He survives in Howe. Also surviving are a daughter, Ruth Ann (Daniel) Hersey, and a granddaughter, Ann R. Hersey, both of Zionsville. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Visitation was from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at Lima Presbyterian Church, 608 Fourth St., Howe, were the Rev. David Hughes officiatied. Burial was held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Howe. Memorials may be made to the Lima Presbyterian Church or The Howe School.
