MISHAWAKA, IN - John C. Bohdan, 87, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. John was born on October 22, 1933, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Charles and Mary (Fern) Bohdan. Also preceding John in death are his siblings, Walter, Edward, Jeannette (Thornton), and Wanda Sue. On February 12, 2001, John married the former Carol Ann Zapalski who survives. Also surviving John are his children, John Bohdan II of Fort Wayne, IN, Joseph Bohdan of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Jason Bohdan of Halton City, Texas; stepchildren, Debra (Dave) Mayfield, Becky (Jeff) Nicklas, and Steve Zapalski; step-grandchild, Nicole Zapalski; and step-great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Alivia, and Michael Gantert. John proudly served in the United States Army. He worked for AM General for 27 years until his retirement. Per his wishes, there will be no formal services and cremation has taken place.
