Patsy Forgue, 91, of Mishawaka went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Patsy was born in South Bend, IN on March 10, 1931, to the late Arizona and Myrtle (Wargon) Smith. On September 20, 1952, in Buchanan, MI, Patsy married William Forgue who preceded her in death on November 30, 1982. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Ned) Helzer; Rhonna Forgue (Jennifer Kinner) and Kim (Mark) Tagliaferri; grandchildren, Danyelle Schnepp and Nic Tagliaferri; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Wade Schnepp; siblings, Phyllis Smith and Vinson (Mary Anne) Smith; and by her 3 special furbabies, Bella, Lucy and Buddy. Patsy is preceded in death by her companion, John Kloski; sister, Molly Giver; and brothers, Robert Smith, Norman Smith and Richard Smith. Patsy worked at Schmucker Middle School in food service until her retirement from Penn Harris Madison School Corporation in 1985. She was a master seamstress and loved making beautiful flower arrangements. Patsy was a very strong and courageous woman with a strong faith in God. She was always compassionate, caring and always willing to help others. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, from 11 am-1 pm at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544. Patsy will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Memorial Garden in Osceola. Memorial contributions can be made to Center for Hospice Care or Pet Refuge.
