Martha M. Skodinski, 86, of Orting, WA, passed away at 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2006, in Serenity Adult Family Home, Auburn, WA.

Martha was born on November 5, 1919, in South Bend, to Michael and Catherine (Tafelski) Burzynski. On September 28, 1940, she married Harry Skodinski. Her parents and husband have all preceded her in death.

Martha is survived by her son, Leroy (Betty) Skodinski; brother, Ernest (Dorothy) Burzynski; sister, Ruth (Stanley) Sparazynski; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Martha worked for South Bend Toy Corporation. She belonged to St. Casimir Catholic Church. She enjoyed and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Martha also enjoyed playing bingo in her spare time.

Visitation will be today, March 23, 2006, from 5 to 8 p.m. in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will by prayed at 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2006, in St. Casimir Catholic Church. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
