[N652] Rosanna C. Lykowski, 55, residing in South Bend, died at 10:58 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2008 in Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born August 31, 1952 in Chicago, to Don & Margaret (Neumann) Lamb, and has lived in the Mishawaka-South Bend area all of her life. She graduated from Indiana University-South Bend receiving her master's in Administration. She was employed for thirty years as a teacher with the South Bend Community School Corp. She was currently working as a first grade teacher at Lincoln Primary School. She previously served in special education at LaSalle High School and Greene Twp. Elementary School.

On July 30, 1977 in South Bend, she married James M. Lykowski who preceded her in death on December 1, 2007. She was also preceded by her father Don Lamb on February 23, 2006.

Rosanna is survived by her son, Michael R. (Lace Cutler) Lykowski of South Bend, her mother, Margaret Lamb of South Bend, a granddaughter, Kendle Adams, and three sisters, Deborah Gresham of Kalamazoo, MI, Margaret (Chuck) Yoder and Jennifer Sweeney both of South Bend.

Also surviving is two nephews, Robert (Katie) Gresham Jr., Adam Gresham, a great-niece, Mariah Gresham, all of Kalamazoo, MI, Lace's daughter, Ja'niah of South Bend, a sister-in-law, Barbara (Ralph) Neri, of Pinckney, MI, and two brothers-in-law, Timothy (Kathy) Lykowski, and Thomas (Diane) Lykowski of South Bend, and special friends, The Franklin Family.

Services will be at Noon, Saturday, March 15, 2008 in Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. Lykowski may be offered to the American Red Cross.
