Mishawaka-Emma G. Candoli, 97, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011 at home. Emma was born on February 27, 1914 in Victor, IA as the youngest of four children to Edward and Elodie (Van dael) Van Loo. She was preceded in death by her parents a sister, Mary Pynaert, and two brothers, August and Maurice Van Loo. On May 16, 1936 in Mishawaka she married Benito Candoli who preceded her in death on May 7, 1988. Surviving are two daughters, Georgia Candoli of San Clemente, CA and Carmen (Jim) Ganser of Mishawaka; four grandchildren, Jack Stafford of Costa Mesa, CA, Jill Stafford of San Juan Capistrano, CA, Natalie (Mark) Holder of Chicago, IL and Matthew (Heather) Ganser of Glen Ellyn, IL and six great grandchildren, Ashley, Taylor and Brent Holder, Lucy and Grayson Ganser and Sierra Starnes-Stafford. As per Emma's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.
