Rita J. Usenick, 69, residing in Mishawaka, passed away at 7:48 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center of Mishawaka. She was born December 5, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Frank and Mary (Greer) Stephan. She has been a resident of Mishawaka since 1963 coming from Pittsburgh, PA. On October 28, 1961 in Imperial, PA, Rita was united in marriage to Andy R. Usenick, who survives. Also surviving is their daughter Lori (Lenny) Bonk of Mishawaka, IN, their son Randy (Courtney) Usenick of Osceola, IN, six grandchildren, and her sister Centa (Jack) Bowland of Burgettstown, PA. One of Rita's greatest enjoyments was spending time with her grandchildren; Ryan, Emily, Olivia, Jessica, Blake, and Zach. Rita was employed at Xcel Controls for 20 years retiring in 1995. She enjoyed golfing and was a part of the Ladies Kosciusko Bowling Club for 20 years. She formerly attended the Granger Community Church.
