April 1912, arriving at the port of Philadelphia aboard the SS Prinz Adalbert sailing from Hamburg: Heinrich Reisig 30, wife Bertha 32, children: Minna 11, Amalie 4, Alexander 3 and Johannes 2. They are from Wiesenmuller, Russia and are traveling to Baraga, MI to their cousin Ferdinand Reisig. Their nearest relative in Russia is Heinrich's mother Anna.

1920 US Census of Royalton, Berrien co., MI, lists Henry Riesid 49, wife Bertha 40, children: Minnie 19, Molly 12, Alexander 11, John 9, Edward 5, Elsie 3 8/12 and Harold 8/12. Edward, Elsie and Harold are MI born. The rest of the family are Russian born and entered the US in 1912. Henry owns a mortgaged farm and is a general farmer on his own account.

1930 US Census of Oronoko, Berrien co., MI, lists Henry P. Reisig 59, wife Bertha 50, children: Alex 21, John 20, Edward H. 15, Elsie Marie 14 and Harold A. 10. Edward, Elsie and Harold are MI born. The rest of the family are Russian born and entered the US in 1912. The couple first married at 28 and 19 years of age. Henry owns a farm and is a general farmer. John is a farm laborer and Alex is a laborer at a Nursery.

1940 US Census of Oronoko, Berrien co., MI, lists Henry Reisig 58, wife Bertha 60 and son Harold 20. The couple are Russian born. Harold is MI born. Henry owns a farm and he and Harold are farmers.
