Joseph Herma
Joseph Herma, 59, of 1814 Magnolia St., died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in his residence of an apparent heart attack. He was an employee of the Torrington Co. He was born on Feb 2, 1913, in South Bend and had lived here all of his life. On Feb. 12, 1932, in South Bend, he married Alice Fischer, who survives, along with a son, Thomas of South bend; a daughter, Mrs. Delores Kaczorowski of South Bend; six grandchildren; two brothers, Theodore of South Bend, and Al of Vancouver, Wash., and a sister, Mrs. Helen Kaminski of South Bend. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, Msgr. John S. Sabo, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Herma was a member of Nest 80, Z.B. Falcons. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
