ST. JOSEPH - Margo Wolanin-Zandarski, 72, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Dec. 3, 2013, in Northridge, Calif. Margo was born Oct. 18, 1941, in Buchanan, to John and Marie (Nitz) Reisig, and graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 1959. She had three children and retired from Whirlpool Corp. in 2003 after many years of service. On Sept. 18, 2002, Margo married Julius Zandarski. Together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Margo is survived by husband, Julius Zandarski of St. Joseph; her children: Sharie (Eric) Van Gilder of Sherman Oaks, Calif., and Randy (April) Wolanin of Florence, Ariz.; stepsons: Dave (Teresa) Zandarski, Dennis (Kris) Zandarski, Don (Michelle) Zandarski and Doug (Debbie) Zandarski, all of Berrien Springs; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Gene Reisig and Donovan Reisig; and daughter, Susan (Lonnie) Jackson in 2005. The family will have a memorial service next summer at Hinman Cemetery in Baroda. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
