He was retired from the SBd Street Department. Services in St Mary's Polish National Catholic Church; burial in St Joseph Cemetery. On 23 Aug 1934 in So Bend he married Valeria Zmudzinski who survives with two daughters, MS Frances & MS Barbara Czarnecki, a son, Taymond and a sister Mrs Mary Rozinski of Poland.
