Sharon L. Zeisz, 65, of Granger, Ind., passed away after a brief illness at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, April 26, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 7, 1934, in Toledo, Ohio, to John and Audra McCormick, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dennis McCormick.Sherry was married on Sept. 10, 1955, in Marion, Ind., to Al Zeisz, who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Kevin (Kathy) Zeisz of South Bend, Ind., and Thomas (Laura) Zeisz of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Mary (Jim) Dunfee of Mishawaka, Ind.; a sister, Sheila Pezzoli of Stanten Island, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Beau, Alexandra and McCormick Dunfee of Mishawaka, and Kyler and Michael Zeisz of South Bend. She graduated from Indiana Medical Center, Indianapolis, Ind., as an x-ray technologist in 1954. She was active in Service Guild, Corvilla, Tri Kappa and Foxy Ladies. Sherry enjoyed reading, cooking and entertaining, traveling and, most of all, her grandchildren. She was president and founder of ''Photo Buttons by Sherry.'' She was a member of St. Anthony's Parish for 44 years. Sherry was considered a good friend by an unbelievable number of people. She will be missed and remembered for her energy and enthusiasm, her sense of humor, her commitment to her religion, and her genuine love and concern for people. Family and friends called from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, at the Hickey Funeral Home, Cleveland Road, South Bend, where a Rosary took place at 5 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today, April 29, at St. Anthony de Padua Parish, with Fr. Barry C. England and Fr. Henry Byekwaso officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan Center, P.O. Box 1049, South Bend, IN 46624.
