Patsy Joan Klopfenstein (Garman), 81, formerly of South Bend, passed away in Grand Rapids, Michigan on December 5th, in her daughter's residence. Patsy was born on March 11, 1940 in Clinton, IN to Wayne R. and Melissa J. (Robertson) Hollingsworth. She moved to South Bend in 1967. On March 22, 1986, she married, Glen R. Klopfenstein in South Bend. She owned and operated Shaklee Distributors for many years before retiring. She and Glen were very active members of Northwest United Methodist Church. They also belonged to the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. She enjoyed crafts, collecting dolls and sewing. One of her greatest joys was taking an active roll in the vacation bible school at the church. Patsy is survived by her children, Brenda S. Miller of Grand Rapids, MI, Steven Garman of South Bend, step-daughter, Becky S. Barker of Indianapolis, and step-son, Roger A. Klopfenstein of California. She was the proud grandmother of 13, great grandma of 17, and great-great grandma of 2. Patsy is also survived by her sister, Peggy Galloway of Greenville, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen, son Robert Garman, daughter, Amanda Pogotis, her parents, and 4 brothers, Carl, Jerry, Dean and Jack Hollingsworth.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, December 13th, from 11:00am until Noon in the Northwest United Methodist Church, 21855 W. Brick Rd., South Bend. A service celebrating her life will begin at Noon with Pastor Vickie Van Nevel. She will be laid to rest along with Glen following the service in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Memorial contributions may be made in Patsy's name to either the Northwest United Methodist Church, 21855 W. Brick Rd., South Bend IN 46628 or Interim Hospice, 1971 E.
