Charles Faltot Sr., 69, died Saturday (June 24, 1961) at 4:30 a.m. in his home, 1326 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights. Mr. Faltot, who had lived all his life in the greater Tarentum community, had a long illness. Born in West Tarentum on Feb. 7, 1892, he was a son of August and Marie Faltot.
He was employed at Brackenridge Works of Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp. for 44 years, until he retired three years ago this week as yardmaster in transportation. He was a member of the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Natrona Heights. Flower gardening was always a hobby of Mr. Faltot, and since his retirement especially, the beds of blooms at his home were a reflection of his love of flowers. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Lena Ricial [Ricail] Faltot; two sons: George and Charles Faltot Jr., both of Natrona Heights; two daughters: Mrs. Jack (Genevieve) Brown, Brackenridge, and Mrs. Glenn (Elizabeth) Miller, Toledo, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. August (Margaret) Olschefsky, Sarver , and six grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Carl Cicholski Funeral Home, 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights. Requiem High Mass will be sung by Rev. E. Charles Patterson, in the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Natrona Heights, Tuesday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
