Alex was born in South Bend to Alex (Sandor) Gerencser(born Garta, Sopron Hungary (date?);died 30 Oct 1918 in South Bend) and Ursula Toth (born 21 Oct 1876 in Garta, Sopron, Hungary; died 20 Apr 1937 in South Bend). His siblings included Elizabeth (born in Garta, died young in SB), George (b. 1 Aug 1910 in SB), Theresa (born SB), Ursula (born 28 Oct 1912 in SB), Geza (born 6 Apr 1917; died young) another Elizabeth (born 28 Oct 1912 in SB) and Anna (born 11 Nov 1915 in SB). The father came over on the "Finland" 13 Feb 1907; Ursula and daughter Elizabeth came on "Zeeland" 20 Oct 1909. I believe that Margaret Poczik's mother's name was Margaret Horvath, based on daughter Maria's baptism record. I'll double-check that when I get home and consult Gary's data.
