SOUTH BEND - Walter Louis Livengood, 77, passed away at 10:30 am on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in Memorial Hospital. Walter was born May 29, 1934 in South Bend to the late Ernest and Celia (Simon) Livengood, Sr. Walter is also preceded in death by brothers, Ernest Jr. & George; and sister, Lorraine Underwood. On October 19, 1968 Walter married Louise (Kasprzak); she survives along with daughter, Elizabeth Livengood; sister, Imogene Schraw; sister-in-law, Marcy Ann Cukrowicz; several nieces; and grandkids, Punky and Kitty. Walter honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was employed and retired from the Bendix Corporation. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at St. Joseph Cemetery. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
