At the time of the 1930 census of South Bend, Indiana, August, Helen, and their daughter Helen J. Sieron were living with her parents and siblings. By the time of the 1940 census, August Sieron and his wife Helen were living in Arlington Township of Middlesex Co., Massachusetts where August was a chemical engineer for a chemical plant. In 1935, they had been living in Chicago. Their children listed in their 1940 household included (in birth order): in addition to Helen J. born in Indiana, Frederic and Patricia both born in Illinois.
