SOUTH BEND - Stephanie Kuzmicz, 95, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Stephanie was born on March 29, 1919, in South Bend, to the late John and Elizabeth (Holcman) Ramenda. Stephanie was also preceded in death by sisters, Louise Szabo, Helen Sokol, Mary Wilson and Pauline Casper; and brothers, Stanley, Walter and Frank. On November 29, 1980, Stephanie married Aloysius Kuzmicz. He survives along with stepdaughter, Joan (Jim) Rodell; step-sons, Robert (Linda) and David (Vivian); step-grandchildren, Julie Rodell, Jaclyn Rodell, Lorra Junk, Ross Kuzmicz, Erika Kuzmicz and Zachary Kuzmicz; step-great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Cheyanne, Autum, Zoe and Lindsey; step-great-great-grandchild, Kevin; sister, Phyllis Bognar; and several nieces and nephews. Stephanie worked as an inspector at Torrington, liked to play Euchre, and was an avid bowler and golfer which she did until she was 93 years old. Stephanie was a member of ZB Falcons and the St. Casimir Seniors Club. Visitation is 4-8 pm Thursday, May 22, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Rosary at 4:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 am Friday, May 23, 2014, in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
