Lillian "Midge" Muldoon Vodde, 84, of Ft. Wayne, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012. Born in Ft. Wayne, Midge had worked at St. Charles Schools. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, the Rosary Sodality, the Columbian Ladies and the Red Hat Society. "She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother." She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Vodde; daughter, Jeanne Heath, Elaine (Ben) Johnston both of Ft. Wayne, Karen (Mike) Hursh of Huntertown, Connie (Rob) Plankenhorn of Indianapolis, IN, Sandra Vodde of South Bend, IN and Marilyn (Chris) McCalley of Ft. Wayne; sisters, Kay (Jim) Johnson of Ft. Wayne and Barbara (John) Schuhler; brother, Edward (Rita) Muldoon and Tom (Barbara) Muldoon Sr. both of Ft. Wayne; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Midge was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ellen Muldoon; sisters, Joan Skordos and May Schorey; and brothers, Ralph, Daniel, David, Mike and Jerome Muldoon. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Msgr John Suelzer officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd with a Rosary at 4:30 pm. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery.
