Granger - Ruth M. Andrzejewski, 77, passed away at 4:25pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in Michiana Health and Rehabilitation. Ruth was born on December 2, 1933 in Evansville, IN to the late Joseph and Martha (Hall) Hooker. Ruth was also preceded in death by brothers, J.R., Elmer and Buddy; and sisters, Christina Reynolds, and Emma Anderson. On December 2, 1952 in Van Nuys, CA Ruth married Robert Andrzejewski. He survives along with daughters, Deborah (Sjoukje Postma) Andrzejewski of Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Julia (James) Zakrowski of Granger; sons, Brent Andrzejewski of Noblesville, IN and Brian (Ann) Andrzejewski of Westfield, IN; grandchildren, Douglas Andrzejewski, Crystal (Dustin) Alexander, Robert (Stacey) Andrzejewski, Matthew Zakrowski, Katherine Zakrowski, Brett Andrzejewski, Tyler Andrzejewski, and Chase Andrzejewski; great-grandchildren, Darcy Andrzejewski and Savannah Alexander; and sisters, Martina Lucatorto of Arizona, Mary Lavender of Georgia, and Doris Roach of Arizona. Ruth loved ceramics and owned and operated Windmill Ceramics in South Bend. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to staff of to The Center For Hospice Care and Michiana Health and Rehabilitation. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday, February 21, 2011 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where family and friends may gather two hours prior to the Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Ct.
