Married to Antoinette Ginter.
Was a brick layer. Helped organize the Bricklayers & Mason's union in South Bend.
He was an organizer of the Local Brick Layers in the South Bend area. His first job in comming to the area was at the University of Notre Dame where he wsa hired by Father Sorin. He lived at Notre Dame until his marriage
