John S. (Ring) Ringelski, 81, of 219 E. Indiana Ave., died in Veterans Hospital, Fort Wayne, at 9 p.m. Friday after a month's illness.
He was born Oct. 3, 1891 in South Bend, and lived his entire lifetime here. On Jan. 22, 1927 he married Sophie Przybylski. She died July 28, 1972.
Surviving are two sons, James Ring of South Bend and Eugene Ring of Indianapolos; a daughter, Mrs. Adeline Hack of South Bend; 17 grandchildren, and a great-grandson and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Grzeskowiak and Mrs. Frances Lapczynski, both of South Bend. Private services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Cemetery. He was a World War I veteran, and a member of DAV Chapter 6.
