MISHAWAKA - Dennis Lee Wieczorek, 67, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 14th, 2017, following an illness. He was born in South Bend, Indiana on October 26th, 1949 to Aloyse and Elizabeth ( Vida) Wieczorek who preceded him in death. On August 5th, 1989 in Mishawaka, Indiana, he married Debra Johnson ( Houck). She survives with three children: Derek Wieczorek of Alabama, Scott Wieczorek of Osceola and Candice Johnson-Miller of Mishawaka. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters: Dorothy Grochowski and Karen (Glen) Herold along with a brother, Ronald (Susan) Wieczorek and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Houck and brother-in-law, Steve (Miriam) Houck. Dennis retired from Lock Joint Corporation in 2015 after 35+ years of service. He loved Notre Dame and music . He was known for his Karaoke with his stage name of Double “O” Dennis. Funeral services for Dennis will be held at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana on Sunday, September 17th, 2017 at 3:00pm. Friends will be received from 1:00pm until the time of the service Sunday. Burial will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to Debbie Wieczorek to help offset funeral expenses or to the Center for Hospice.
