Obituary from p. 5 of the 3 MAY 1927 edition of the “South Bend Tribune”:

John Strozewski, age 56 of 1313 West Poland street, died Monday morning at 3:30 o'clock in his home following a three months' illness. He was born in Poland in 1871 and came to South Bend 40 years ago. Mr. Strozewski is survived by his wife, Nellie; nine children, Mrs. Clara Woltman, Pauline, Severine, Harriett, Dorothy, Casimir, Walter, Frank and two grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Rachmadzinski, Mrs. Mary Bonek and Mrs. John Wasinkowski, all of this city. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Casimir's Roman Catholic church, Rev. Stanislaus Gorka, the pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.
