Mishawaka-Judith “Judy” Ann Kedik, 74, passed away at home on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Judy was born on January 26, 1944 in Mishawaka to John and Margaret (Simmons) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Johnny Close; her twin sister, Joan Peppers and grandson, Adam Close. In 1960 she married John Close; he preceded her in death. On August 12, 1980 she married James Kedik. James survives along with her children, Debra Ruth of Mishawaka, Kim (Andy) Bell of Elkhart, Bruce (Becky) Close of Mishawaka and foster son, Gerald Graser; brothers, Robert and Richard Johnson; 13 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren and her niece and nephews; Tina (Mark) Wolfram, who was her part time caregiver, Randy (Lisa) Peppers, Brian Johnson and Richard Johnson. Judy was a recovery room nurse for 35 years at Michiana Community Hospital before she retired. Visitation will be on Monday, April 30 from 5 to 7 with a funeral service at 7 p.m., in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
