Stella Bielski, 93, of Michigan City, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010 at 3:42 p.m. in Life Care Center of Michigan City.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church, 1506 Washington St., Michigan City, with the Rev. Walter Ciesla, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Michigan City. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Tuesday till 11:30 a.m. in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City.
She was born May 5, 1916 in Michigan City, to the late John and Mary (Tafelski) Bielski. Surviving is a sister, Catherine Bielski of Michigan City and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters. Ms. Bielski retired after 37 years as a dental assistant from Joseph C. Potucek Sr., DDS's office. Member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, and former member of the St. Stanislaus Rosary Society.
