Aloysius F. Drzewiecki Jr., 73, of Finch Drive, South Bend, Ind., died at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4. He was born on Sept. 28, 1928, to Aloysius F. Drzewiecki Sr. and Hattie (Wasikowski) Drzewiecki, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Fred Drzewiecki. On Nov. 16, 1957, he married Lorraine (Wisniewski) Drzewiecki, who survives. He is also survived by a niece, Sylvia Drzewiecki of California. Aloysius worked at Dallas & Mavis Trucking Company as an office manager. He was a member of St. Matthew's Cathedral. Aloysius was a veteran of the Army, being discharged in 1952. He was a graduate of Washington High School. He liked to bowl, golf, fish, garden, and he took pride in his yard. Friends and family may call from 9 to 10 a.m. today, Sept. 6, in St. Matthew Cathedral, 1701 Miami Street, South Bend. Services will be at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew's Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Matthew's Building Fund. The St. Joseph Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
