He was a driver for 7up for 42 years. On May 11, 1963 in Mishawaka he married Sandra K. Rotge. She died on January 24, 2016. Surviving are a daughter Kim (Bill) Edgerton of Gulf Shores, AL, a son Kevin (Jennifer) Dhuivetter of LaPorte, 4 grandchildren Kari (Josh) Scott, Katy (Chase) Newton, Sarah (Jesse) Villagrana and Michael (Sophie) Dhuivetter, a step-grandchild Julie Dominiack, 3 great-grandchildren Ellie Harper Scott, Bodie Lee Scott and Grace Elizabeth Newton, and a step-great-grandchild Joshua Dominiack, Cremation has taken place.
