MISHAWAKA - Helen P. Kemble, 93, of Mishawaka, passed away at 9:30 pm Saturday, October 25, 2014 in the Sanctuary at Holy Cross, South Bend. She was born March 18, 1921 in South Bend to the late Albin and Mary Kathryn (Holley) Kolupa and remained a lifelong area resident. On July 2, 1938 in South Bend, Helen married Robert C. Kemble, who preceded her in death on December 25, 1990. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Kemble in 2013. Helen is survived by her daughter, Patricia (James Sult) McClanahan of Mishawaka; son, Robert (Terrie) Kemble of Niles, MI; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Shirley McMahon of South Bend. Funeral services for Helen will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in the Palmer Funeral Home River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Graveside services and burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 am until the time of services on Wednesday in the funeral home.
