Andrew L. Luczkowski, 78, of 601 N. Brookfield St., died Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. He retired in 1976 from Bendix, where he was a maintenance machinist for 13 years. He was born on Nov 30, 1908 in South Bend and had lived in the area all his life. On June 30, 1932, he married Genevieve Piasecki, who died Feb 7, 1969. On Nov 25, 1978, he married Alice Mathewson, who survives. Also surviving are three stepsons, Robert Mathewson of Henderson, Nev; Richard Mathewson of Denver, Colo., and Paul of South Bend; eight grandchildren; a sister, Bertha Wentland of South Bend; and a brother Frank of South Bend. Services will be Monday in the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call in the Kaniewski Funeral home.
