Thought To Be Suicide

Wawrzniec Wroblewski Dies Under Very Peculiar Circumstances

Friday about 6 p.m. Officers Stickley and Brzesynski found a man lying unconscious on the sidewalk at the corner of Chapin Street and Prarie Avenue. He was brought to the station and found to be Wawrzniec Wroblewski, of 831 South Arnold. Dr. R B Stineswas called and for a time the man seemed to get better. He was taken to Epworth Hospital at 1:35 and died about 2:00 without regaining consciousness.
Wroblewski frothed at the mouth and gave other evidence that lead Dr. Stine and Coroner Dugdale to believe that he had taken poison, having been driven to desperation by a long continued ilness. Wroblewski wandered awayfrom home Friday morningand his familywas anxiously awaiting his return. A wife and four children survive him. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm at St Casimirs Catholic Church.
