Margaret T. Barna
Services for Margaret T. Barna, 88, of St. Joseph Care Center-Morningside, formerly of Jamestown Court, Mishawaka, who died at 4:25 a.m. Thursday in the nursing home, will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call two hour before services in the funeral home. Mrs. Barna was born Oct. 24, 1898 in Hungary, and lived in the South Bend area most of her life. On Feb. 12, 1916, in South Bend, she married Frank Barna. He died in 1977. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Righter of South Bend; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. A son, Frank A. died in 1984. She was a former member of the William Penn Club.
