David proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Marine Corps League, Veterans of Foreign Wars and The Fraternal Order of Eagles. He served as president of the Mishawaka-Penn Township Democratic Club and was active in politics for many years. David could best be described as a great conversationalist and storyteller. He was opinionated and you always knew where you stood with him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to Notre Dame football games. He loved having fun and socializing with groups of people. You might remember him from the local channel 16 commercials as the one who said, "the brother and sister team" David will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He has left us with many entertaining memories and stories. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 11th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m at the Knights of Columbus, 111 West 1st Street, Mishawaka, Indiana.
